Charleston Part 2

The best part about our visit to Charleston, besides finding our house still standing and in pretty good condition was seeing some old friends... One evening we were all able to get together and play on the beach- in February!  At least Raleigh is a lot closer than Ann Arbor...

Finn and her buddy Denny

He's gotten so big since he came to Raleigh in October!
Gomez finally meets Finn!

...and Finn is a huge Gomez fan...

...smooches from Kate...

...and Finn is not sure about that!

Charleston Part 1

A few weeks ago, Ahren and Finn and I headed back to the (almost) beginning:   Charleston, South Carolina. Because we are still the proud home owners of a lovely little place, we needed to check on the property and get some work done... (make sure it was still standing as it has been inhabited by recent college grads!).    We were able to visit many close friends and get some beach time in as well!  First of a few posts due to the crazy amount of pics we took-

cutie Kate Ryan, and one of Finn's closest friends...

Warm Winter

A few weeks ago we headed over to our friends' house for a beautiful afternoon outside.  This car that is apparently still a very cool toy after all these years (I remember my brother being obsessed with an identical one when we were little) was really popular with the crowd... Then the bubbles came out, and Finn loved those, too.  Also, notice her very stylish headband that she just had to wear for photographs....

More River photos-

I found a few more photos from our time at the river in January.  I think they portray a good "day in the life" by showing Finn's interest in EVERYTHING these days.  She keeps us on our toes, and we love seeing her soak up all that is happening around her as she develops and grows.

More time outside (and in the wagon...)

She found a hat that I used to wear when I was little and would go visit!

The sweater she has on in these photos was handmade by a woman from Ahren's grandmother's church. She gave it to us before Finn was even born, and Finn is big enough to wear it now.  I love it!

She reads books on the IPad...

...and is digging through drawers all the time...

...and knows she can get away with a lot with a look like this...
