Katie and Kyra visit

Two of my great friends that I taught with in Charleston who were originally from Michigan have since moved back to Michigan.  We were finally able to get together and visit last weekend. Kyra had a baby boy just two days after Finn was born- little Cooper and Finn were fascinated by each other, and I wish the girls were closer to Ann Arbor so we could see each other more often...

Cheering for UVA... this one time...

Summer and the rest of the UVA women's swim team went to Atlanta this past weekend for ACC Championships, and they won for the fourth year in a row-  This is an incredible accomplishment for the fourth years, and I am so proud of her!  We watched her swim the mile- and Finn didn't take her eyes off of Summ swimming all 66 laps...

Good times!

The fact that this baby is 3 months old is crazy... I was warned about the fast forward button on life, and it's true-  every moment seems like a new experience for her, and seeing the world through her eyes is awesome.... even if her eyes only see her toy elephant, "Pinky"... we're pretty creative with names around here.

Snow in Michigan- it just keeps on comin'

Last year in Baltimore, we had two huge blizzards back to back... I loved it, as school was canceled for weeks, and we could walk any where with our friends and eat and drink all night, but here it's been steady over months. The biggest hit came last week, when we got about a foot all at once.  Mason and Finn chose to stay inside-

The babes.... and it's cold... so here she is in all of her hats...

I've loved living in Michigan, despite the fact that it keeps me away from so many friends, and Ann Arbor is a great place to live- I've soaked up every season- the summer was beautiful, the fall was breathtaking, and the winter has been white. And as of today I'm officially over it. Our second car is stuck in the driveway since the snow has been plowed into it, and the negative temps the last five days have made it impossible to move this snow. There is a big 30 degree heat wave this weekend- woo hoo! We're headed to some hockey games... ohhhh, yeah....
